Pastel, dry pastel, is my world.

This new site is to open the doors to all who may have the “Art Spirit”: artists and collectors, the curious, and all alike. That I may share what I have learned from my 30 years of painting in pastel non-stop.

I believe there is Art in all of us; from the carpenter, who measures, marks with pencil where he must cut, his pride, even if as simple as joining two by fours at the right angle, the floor, the wall, the roof, and the house completed.

The farmer, who plows proudly his earth, the respect, the knowlege of his land, back centuries upon centuries before him.

For all, even those who can’t even draw a straight line, yet can feel, see the power of the ocean, or the surprise of a sunset’s explosion of colors, to feel themselves, to be actually “moved”. I welcome you with hope that you may be inspired to look deeper into yourselves and share as humans, together, this Art spirit.
